Another Century Records album with the artwork sampled for this sleeve is The LaSalle High School Concert Band 1963-64.

Listened to my copy today. Something unique to the vinyl version is that the “my throat muscles were clearly shredded” sample plays twice before Rollins Power Sauce. I also noticed there’s an awkward skip on Satan Gave me a Taco. “ed out in manure” comes half a beat early. What’s interesting is that the version now on Spotify also has this but a YouTube of the song doesn’t. The track “Ken” is not here like some of the CD versions. So strange that this record has so much variation.

This CD is worth getting just for the map of where the beer is stashed. 😉
A masterpiece of eclectic wonder. -

Rowboat and Jaggermeister Pie are my two favorite Beck songs. I mean, Johnny Cash covers Rowboat so its silly to say this album is total garbage. All the weird stuff on here reminds me of growing up in the 80s - has a bit of a Goonies feel to it for some reason. This is sort of Beck's "Paul's Boutique" but with an anti-produced vibe.
