One of the best Brazilian Funk/Soul Album ever. Funk+Soul+Samba beat = Tim Maia. Powerful voice, powerful Bass, and Rhythm. -
I don't have the original version, so I can't compare, but the sound is so clear that anyone can tell it sounds good.
The voices and instruments sound separate, yet there is a warmth to the atmosphere.
This is the best sound quality version and you can enjoy 10 out 10 of Tim maia's soulful voice👍. -
Sounds brutal, don't hesitate in this edition, sounds amazing, nice stereo image, balanced and kicks hard, not over compressed ! -

While i do not have a original to compare, i have to say that the quality of the pressing is fine, it is not completely centered but this does not affect playback, but the mastering misses a bit of the Highs and Mids. I have to crank those a little bit on my mixer to get anywhere near of the digital releases. Anyone else having this issue? When the Highs and Mids are properly boosted it sounds great, though!

The drummer on this record was a dear friend of mine. He was 17 when he recorded this album with Tim Maia. He past away in 2019. His name was Miro de Sá. I miss him and visit him whenever I play this record.
