Finally gave this a listen, what a balanced/clean pressing. The master volume is perfect and the low end punch is present without having to boost anything. The bonus track sounded killer, as I’m only used to the original release. -

After ripping, looking at the waveform and measuring the dynamic range (but you can also tell by listening to it) it is evident that they did not do a more dynamic mastering for vinyl but probably used the compressed mastering of the cd by manipulating it to fit the vinyl -

This German reissue is 100x better than the USA 2LP reissue from a couple years ago. I thought this one sounded amazing. A lot of newer records have very low sound quality. I had my volume half way and it was loud as hell and sounds beautiful 💯💯💯💯💯. There was no reason for that USA reissue to be a double record. This one is perfect. 💯💯💯💯💯💯 Those USA reissues from a couple years ago dropped the ball 3 outta 4 times. Volume 8 was the only quality reissue. -

Good repress, flat and good sound. Packing wise, particurarly the front of the outer sleeve, well, not good, don't know what have they used to reproduce/reprint it but the quality is low. -

Something about the sound / press quality of this release? -

When I first got this when it was released, I hated it. I didn't understand it and it was just too different at the time. Now I listen to it, and it slams! It's so full of energy and rage. "I see something wrong, and I fix it with my hands" sums this album up. These were the dark ages in thrash metal, but I only wish I gave it a chance back then. -

This sounds MUCH much better than the Sound Of White Noise reissue. Shame, as that album is far better. This is easily the weakest Anthrax album but its far from bad even then. -

Sound quality is awesome, really well balanced and as intense and vivid as the original, my ears are delighted. I don’t have a problem with the thin discs (90gr maybe?) but the quality of the pictures is below acceptable, really distorted images and typography, feels too cheap and it has no printed credits either. I understand they did not had a big budget for this, but they could have easily printed the credits inside instead of that horrible image for the same price. One of my favourite Anthrax albums, i can’t have enough of it. -
