I've had two of these, and both had problems with significant surface noise despite being brand new, shrinkwrapped and unplayed. I'm assuming a batch of faulty pressings. Proceed with caution.

I guess they are now disabled, not sure why they were taken from my LP.

I added the back cover picture and the half speed master and my disc's serial number

A nice little psychedelic rock album with violin and a laid-back vibe.

Great dose of focused dreamy hippie vibed San Francisco quasi-psych-prog-jazz-rock w/ edgy male-female vocal harmonies supplemented by David Laflamme's excellent violin performances.
Remarkable album.

Q: Was the theme from the song "Bombay Calling" plagiarised by Deep Purple on "Child In Time"?

Seems like the label tried to use copyright laws to restrict certain version sales – my copy has “Not licensed for sale in the U.S.A.” printed on the rear. Yea… good luck with that!

The inspiration of the "It's a Beautiful Day" cover is "Woman on Top of a Mountain" Charles Courtney Curran, ca. 1905 created by the short-lived design studio Globe Propaganda started in 1969 by George Hunter, a founding member of the seminal San Francisco band The Charlatans.

I have a number 23911. Coincidently, I have what appear to be copies of the 1983 cd released by San Francisco Sounds. I also have a 1999 Sony cd. Compared to those cds this vinyl sounded flat and lifeless until I cranked up the volume on my amp and the album really opened up. It think this pressing is ok. This pressing sounds great compared to the 1st press I have. Good album too.

I just realized that this is the version I have. Now I feel like I need a true stereo copy. Damn, ignorance was bliss..

Finally got this in my collection after years of searching and found it in a record store, damage to the gatefold so the record shop threw it in for free with my other purchase. It's a good pressing, it's old so a bit distorted in places but happy to finally own it.

Long time didn't I listened to that amazing record. Progressive, crazy psychodelia with a virtuosic playing all along both sides of the album.
