Edited 4 days agoThis is the first SACD to not work on my player. It doesn’t read AT ALL - not even as the redbook CD layer. I’ve tested MoFi, Analogue Productions, and other Audio Fidelity SACDs and this is the odd duck that doesn’t even read on my player. Has anyone else had this problem? My player is a Denon DVD-3910 and I’ve never had this issue. I tested it with other SACD players and it worked just fine so buyers who own Denon SACD players beware! -

really good pressing. dont have any other versions to compare to, but this sounds just as good as any other officially released live BBC recordings that i have from other artists of the same era. very clear deep and powerful with a heavy compact punch right in the middle of the chest!!
just make sure you find a NM copy, cos each side is almost 30 minutes which means that even the slightest or tiniest surface abrasion will result in a loud pop or possible skip/jump from the extremely shallow cut of the grooves. some of the extended solo/jam portions can get really tedious and downright mind-numbingly boring at times, but when theyre playing the actual songs, they are absolutely hammering it home and bringing the heat like none other. great stuff!! -
This is a fantastic live recordings collection, and sounds very good. Here is only 10 songs on 2LP, and you can hear som of fantastic solo parts. Recordings are beautiful and whole album sounds very good, you can almost see the band on the stage. -
Have a copy but with Gold Promo stamp, probably issued and then some stamped for early delivery to stores or Radio stations as a preview? -

This is the copy I purchased in the US I don't where because it was like 1985 or something... But the Harvest copies had additional photos and all this stuff but the songs and the sides were exactly the same... Is this because Purple Records were cheap Muther Truckers... -

Un disc excepțional cu o trupă de clasici ai rock-ului! Deep Purple sunt printre fondatorii discurilor imprimate live, conștienți de excelenta lor prestație în concert. Discul de față cuprinde o serie de piese de succes ale grupului din perioada primilor ani de activitate, precum și ceva preuări rock n roll, interpretate într-o manieră proprie. Un dublu disc superb, cu o prezență a grupului chiar mai puternică decât pe albumele de studio. Imprimare foarte bună a acestei versiuni indiene rare și o notă de 9,90 acordată, cu invitația certă de a achiziționa și audia acest disc! -

On page 9, it was originally a list of other editions, so it was outdated as outdated. But the white page looks stupid. Another problem is the poor print quality of the booklet.
