My copy has gold cover and back letters are gold

Pretty poor overall. Only listened to it a few times as all the sibilance ruins it. -
The vocal sibilance is down to the mastering. I have the 1997 CD as well.
This is as good a vinyl reissue as there's ever likely to be. -
I finally got around to adding this monumental album to my collection. It was a purchase long overdue.
The vocal sibilance is quite brutal - there is no improvement to the master that's available on streaming and I can imagine that no matter what pressing of this album you purchase the sibilance will always be present. Of course it's not nice hearing it but it does sounds authentic and was present on a lot of RZA's production from that time period.
Other than that the pressing sounds really good. The records were extremely clean straight outta the sleeves which was good to see.
Listen to the album on streaming and if you don't mind the sibilance then cop this with confidence. -
Luckily this album is so good, because the sibilance on this pressing is damn near intolerable! -
Minor sibilance on a few songs, but overall really sounds great. Another solid MOV release. -

Even though I am not a fan of the genre this is definitely a cut above and the recording is big, detailed, resonant, and designed to kick. -
It is a shame about the vocal sibilance, I think it sounds great otherwise... -
I think many people don’t realise the compression, sibilance and low fidelity are all deliberate.
Extremely typical of RZA’s production… -
