Lovely pressing, very quiet considering it’s a mostly intimate acoustic record. The music itself is timeless.
There is a wee hot patch on side 1, I didn’t note the track but it distorts ever so slightly. I think it’s the mastering but it’s minor and brief. Otherwise pretty flawless. -

If only all records could be made with this quality world peace might be a possibility. Pull this record out and play it for guest who is visiting for the holidays and noticing your complex looking vinyl setup and skeptical of it really sounding that much better than streaming. This record will wow even the most casual listener. -

This vinyl truly elevates the listening experience, especially for the gentle and introspective music of Laura Marling. Compared to the already impressive digital version, the record offers a noticeable improvement in warmth, clarity, and dynamics. The vocals are particularly striking, standing out with enhanced presence and emotional depth, while the instruments gain a refined clarity and richness. The overall sound is more immersive, making the vinyl the clear choice for anyone looking to fully appreciate the nuances of this music. Highly recommended. Played after cleaning on Opera Consonance on Klimax LP12, Selekt DSM Edition Hub/Amp/Organik, Akurate 242 -

This version plays perfectly well. No surface noises, no distortions even in the quiet ages. But i don’t understand this ridiculous prices!!! order it at jpc.de, it’s still available… -
I don't know what ears people have but there's floor noise, .. it's not the greatest pressing evber, good but nothing to be overly excited about, however the music is sublime.. and that's the importnat thing imo.

Really high quality pressing! One of the best sounding in my collection. -
One of the best sounding records I own. Sounds absolutely phenomenal. Flat, silent, and beautifully mastered.

Yes yes yes!!!! This is gorgeous, silent beautifulness... a perfect record! Well done Laura and all involved. A stand out wonderful delight in every department!

This is the standard I wish all records were pressed at. Beautifully mastered, no floor noise whatsoever, no scuffs or marks, no clicks, pops or non-fill, no warps and no seam splits. The whole thing is flawlessly done, and the music itself is wonderful.

A beautiful little album in its immediacy and simplicity, with luscious string arrangements. Nothing wrong with this pressing, the cream color is pretty, record is flat and the mastering is very good, they totally went for something raw and acoustic. Laura's voice sounds like she's literally right there in your living room !
