Heavy Load (2) – Stronger Than Evil

If anybody gets offered this, or sees it around, please do not bother buying it or this labels version of 'Death Or Glory', as they are poor bootlegs with an absolutely abysmal sound that is so low it's almost inaudible. Avoid!

Great. But why this stupid idea to put the bonus on a CD ??? I'm buying a vinyl... It's a gatefold, they could have put a second LP.

I think the poster of my copy has a different -gigant- poster!

And somebody asked me to describe Heavy Load I always tell them it's a mixture of Dio style heavy metal mixed in with some Pink Floyd with some '70s hard rock sensibilities sprinkled in and to not have a release in the states for some time did not stop the band from gaining cult status and beyond

Does anyone have an extra jacket for the original press? My copy has no jacket. :(

this was the second no remorse deluxe edition of heavy loads last classic album stronger then evil released in 1983, the late great PHIL LYNOTT even plays a bit on this, this would be the last heavy load record ever made, great remastering on this cd and the bonus tracks are fantastic!!!! just wish they would do the debut heavy load album from 1978 like this as well as the metal conquest ep from 1981!!! maybe that will still come as full speed ahead was a great record, i think maybe a full on 5 cd box set may have been better w/ all heavy loads recorded output from 1978 to 1983 w/ a nice booklet & all would have been better, high roller in just did that with all the early ostrogoth recordings.......................

Yeah idk what the last guy is saying, this record sounds great, nice glossy sleeve and cool lyric booklet.

One of the sickest and most underrated heavy metal albums of all time. Buy it!

AVOID at all cost - what a waste of money remastering the original tapes at Atlantis and then decide to use Czech GZ as pressing plant, notorious for it's poor 'mastercutting' and pressing quality.

Sounds great, looks great. Very nice packaging. The bonus tracks (only available on CD) are great, too. A few lost gems.

You can finally buy a real copy of this, and they did it right.

I'm glad they didn't put the bonus tracks on the main disc; that's how I like a classic album. But the bonus CD is actually great - all songs from that time period, that capture a similar vibe. It's too bad nobody got to hear them for 30 years.

I didn't expect to find a US distro, but one of those eBay power sellers had a pre-order.
