I definitely prefer the single version of Angel to this remix. I was confused about the fake live effect at the beginning.
Audio is clean and well mixed. No pressing issues.
Into the Groove sounds fine.

I'm listening to this on Apple Music. Track 1 is faster and pitched higher than the original version on the Like A Virgin album. It is the previously released fade of the album version. Track 2 is the previously released fade of the extended dance mix (track 3). Into The Groove sounds horrible! Something is wrong with this track.

Reviewing every record in my collection

A good Maxi-single, the cover art is stunning, one of the best ones ever. Now the Angel remix is crap, just the regular song with some claps in the beginning and an irritating "Madonna" screams. Now the B-side (or double A side) Into the Groove is a Jam, it definitely should have been released as a stand alone single in the US. The sound quality is really good too

The Nile Rodgers remix of "Angel" is a real missed opportunity. The effort to make it sound like a "live" recording bleeds all the punch out of the song. It makes "Into the Groove" sounds even better in comparison.

The dynamics on this single are insane. The bass is booming and the synthesizer sounds in the background just jump out at you.

We all bought this because it was the only place to find the full version of "Into the Groove" at the time, which remains one of my favorites. The remixes on "You can Dance" were even better.

The remix of "Angel" is ok, but the added crowd noise ruined it for me.

The earlier pressings, such as this one, have a printing error: the catalog number for LIKE A VIRGIN reads 1-25257 but it's actually 1-25157.
