Notes

Initial (manufactured by B&C) copies of the album featured the shorter version of "Lost" (around 10:30) that fades out during the "I love you" section. Later pressings faded out during the cacophonous crashing chords that followed, making the track a little over 11 minutes.

It sounds pretty good but towards the end of both side A and B there is heavy surface noise which makes it kind of unlistenable for about 6-8 mins on each side. Plus some warping (even though I got it sealed) which is probably what caused the surface noise. I think I just got unlucky and this is probably a good pressing.

A pretty good reissue of the album. Probably not the best version on cd. But, in my opinion, it's good enough. It had good dynamics and sound in general. I say, if you find, and want to have the album on cd, well worth getting it.

3rd time lucky. Two duds and finally a decent one. I still maintain the CD issue is better for having both mixes.
This doesnt change the fact that ive tried 3 copies each of:

And out of 12 LPs only ONE OF THEM IS DEFECT FREE 🙄😬🤯

Incredible stuff. Took a while for me to fully get into Van Der Graaf, but Killer is a track I loved from first listen.
Shark’s Tale is basically the film adaptation of Killer. Someone owes VDGG some money.
