Great price for an amazing sounding pressing. The Meat Puppets go full psych and this reissue really captures it. You'll know it as soon as needle drops on the title track. -

For a low budget punk album from 1985, it sounds pretty damn good. They did a great job remastering this. Vinyl is flat and noise free. A rarity compared to previous pressings I’ve heard. If you are looking for a great sounding copy of a classic, you can’t go wrong here

I just got this reissue along with the recent Meat Puppets II release. Both are fantastic pressings and sound about as good as these can. I find Up On the Sun to have much better sound quality than II though. The production must have just been much better.

Nice pressing, clear, quiet and dynamic. This is a strong offering by the band as well, good stuff. -
despite a crumpled inner sleeve, some poor outer sleeve construction and minor warping, this record sounds wonderful. no pops, or surface noise and is rich and clear -
I have nothing to compare it to, but this pressing seems flawless. The sound is rich and deep with nary a pop or crackle to be heard. According to this article at Consequence Of Sound it's mastered from the original analog tapes. -
A couple of things. This is a Megaforce release not MVD. Does anyone know the story on whether this was mastered from the original tapes or not? There is conflicting information about this out there.

Scored this on Amazon for $17. I was shocked and thrilled to see it! The pressing is fantastic. I can hear everything better than I ever have before, mistakes and all. The cover is nice and bright but with no frills. The inner sleeve is cheap paper but has lyrics printed on one side and a drawing of the band on the other.
