Sounds like you are in the studio with these two since ed legends. The guitars are free to cry, with not set time limit really for each song. The sound quality on my AT-40 through my Marantz into my klipsch is incredible. Buy this album if you love the blues. Side note: the rhythm section holds it down in the studio like champs.

I have both QRP 2015 cut by Kevin Gray & Steve Hoffman 45 RPM and this version. Did a back to back comparison with track Overall Junction.
QRP has a tighter sound stage compared to the Craft sound stage is open. The guitars are wider across my sound system. QRP bass is punchy, but I like the Craft version differently as a daily listener. Both are great but different.
By the way, that is how I find sound systems, especially great systems, great but different. Which you would like more often?
This is an excellent example of a great album that must be in everyone’s collection.✌🏽 -
Edited one month agoGreat sounding pressing, super clean and quiet. Nice packaging and liner notes on inside of gatefold. Great performance by two blues legends, a lot of content not included in the other releases. Recommended.

What an all-time legendary session… the banter and playing shows such incredible mutual respect between Albert King the legend and legend in the making, SRV. Traded solos reveal unmistakeable shared DNA between the “OG” and next generation (or “father and son” as the liner notes characterize it). So many great tracks here, but Stevie showing off his new “Pride and Joy” is a standout. Flat pressing with minimal surface noise and zero clicks and pops across six sides. Anti-static inner sleeves are a nice touch. It’s not a cheap release, but well worth it for any fan of either guitarist or the blues in general.

The cd's sound great.

Very satisfied with this edition. All three discs are perfectly flat, there are no clicks or pops and the sound is absolutely magnificent. I am grateful for reissues like this

GZ Media should be banned from doing releases by top musicians like Stevie and Albert. Quality control failed here, the vinyl is dirty and put in a cheap paper sleeve even though we know this triple gem isn't cheap. Pitty!

Happy to confirm this is good quality from the gatefold to the records themselves, now one of my most fun albums to listen to. Sound is wonderfully balanced; bass is present and full sounding, the mids and highs sound very clear and crisp. The electric guitars are fully fledged out sound-wise and has a magical 3D-feel to the sound.
This is as great and more than what I hoped this would be, they`ve done them and us justice folks. Such a well executed pressing, this is the most exquisite and fun listening experience I`ve had with vinyl to date.
