What a bad ass album!

Muddy waters vocals, a few different on guitar with James Cotton playing harmonica! Not to mention Pine Top Perkins on the piano!

TOTALLY recommend getting a copy!

This pressing sounds fantastic, and it looks great on blue vinyl.

My copy has orange Epic labels but the matrix is the same.

Great press, silent. Unsure if mastered from analog or digital source. Any ideas?

I've this record, exactly the same but has not asterisk in the label like this one. Is it another issue?

Fantastic pressing, incredibly quiet and well packaged.
But was a digital stage used to "clean this up?" I don't know, really, I'm just curious. It's tooo quiet. All the mics are perfecty chosen and set up, but there's missing air. It comes back in piano solos. And on harp. Could be a touch too far with gating, but its not quite that or compression. It's a digital change, or is it? But if that's the only nag, this is still six nines of goodness. 99.9999% awesome. This session is so dirty that cleaning won't change that anyway. Get one. I'll get another. We'll get to the bottom of this.

A singeing modern blues album from Muddy Waters and friends. Johnny Winter does a lot of the heavy lifting, but it's an album of shared talents otherwise. James Cotton does some of his best blues harp here, I think.

Currently spinning my copy, couldn't be more pleased. Is your collection even a collection without this LP? I'd have to say no.
