Darkthrone – Astral Fortress

It's little nightamre! Their worst album ever , sounds as demo of songs recorded randomly . Sound of drums was never that bad "thx" to Jack Control mixing . There is no single song worthy listening on this album , maybe partly first three minutes of first track and partly Kevorkian times . Pure trash. And this frontcover
is horribly silly. Great that they returned with brilliant album " it beckons us all", Darkthrone is not lost

Love the music but I must knock off a star due to the brightness of the sound. I would love to be able to turn this way up, but the high frequency tilt prevents me from doing so. I verified the spectrum using the Spectroid app (which I've to be an excellent app), so my ears did not deceive me.

iMusic were selling this for AU$105 back in June 2023, which was way below retail value, couldn't say no! Love the art prints.

Tape sounds great. Wish it was sold individually. The print on the box and vinyl are incredible

Their best album after ABITNS. Pure punkcoretrashmetal. Nothing beats DT when they go fully TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

When I first listened to it on Spotify, I hated it!!! I have pre-ordered it, and only today I have unwrapped the LP version...the sound is REAALLLYYYY better! less muddy, etc

really cool pressing but it sounds kinda terrible. Does anyone else have this problem?

best album of darkthrone since the good old days of the early ninetees!

My pressing sounds great, no complaints, but it feels like 140-150g, which is slightly disappointing I'm pretty sure all the modern darkthrone pressings I've bought have been nice and heavy 180s.

Total nitpick though, it's good stuff.
