Hawkwind – Warrior On The Edge Of Time

I just discovered that my copy of this has 2 B side labels but plays through correctly. No such variant seems to be listed. Is it possible to create a new listing?

Lemmy got the boot from Hawkwind for taking too many stimulants. Motörhead is the last track he wrote with the group. This pressing sounds great. No surface noise with good depth and dynamics.

The sound on this one blows my US copy away.

I’m Canadian and the majority of my Hawkwind were made in Canada. They sound fine, but not like this. It’s like a different album.

Love the psychedelic sound, but this master leaves a lot to be desired. It’s so bright with ear piercing highs and a complete lack of low-end. This is a shame given the amazing music. A little difficult to listen to on a highly detailed and transparent system, perhaps this was meant for more ‘dark’ sounding systems back in the day.

My copy has “ A Porky Prime Cut” scratched and UAG 29766 A stamped

I only have the CD to compare with, but this sounds amazing. Like hearing the album for the very first time!

The labels shown here indicate that this is a later pressing from '77 onwards,as it has the ed trademark and 'A product of United Artists Records Ltd' on rim. Not sure if this repressing had a fold out sleeve.

Worth noting, automatic turntables will struggle with the grooves on the backside. Sometimes, it'll stop/lift off before the song finishes. I just found this out today when playing it.

Without opening it, is there any way to tell if this is the yellow vinyl edition?
