Spooky Tooth – Spooky Two

My album has label side A on both sides of the record.

Great album sound, raw and crisp, but I fear an original 1st press would be miles better. Nice cut album though, it just resonates the age old argument, originals are better than 180g remasters.

Good songs wrapped in a warm seventies production. Better by you, better than me covered by Judas Priest a few years later on Stained Class.

This is a strange release! I have a german copy with 85 785 IT pink rim vinyl with the sleeve stickered 85 785 ET on upper back!
So there should have been unstickered IT version sleeves as well, which I cannot find anywhere!
Strange enough that there were no pink label german pressings, as that record was heavily popular here at the time!

this is a really nice japan reissue of the second spooky tooth lp originally released in 1968, this japan budget reissue is from 1978, nice budget series obi strip, 2 sided insert and the disc sounds flawless!!!! this is a high quality japan pressing............

The runout on my copy only has A6 on side 1 and B6 on side 2. Can anyone confirm this?

Pressing is very quiet... The dynamics are there, but I have to crank my setup pretty high. Otherwise, the sleeve is a nice thick cardboard that can take quite a beating.

I have a grey cover version with 10 tracks listed, Is it up on discogs ?

Still after nearly 50 years I play this as much as anything. Intro to Waiting For The Wind has to be one of the greatest ever!

Good LP, hard edged early hard rock.
This LP is heavy, direct, & pounding.
Sounds good loud. But psychedelic?? No way. I guess here on discogs it gets the label since it came out in the 1960's or maybe sellers think the music will appeal to more potential buyers with excess styles.
I would call it 60's Heavy, Rock, or Hard Rock. In 40 years of spinning the record not even once did psychedelic cross my mind. Psychedelic is to trip out to. This is drinking music. Whiskey or beer or whatever you fancy :+)
