Pressing sounds amazing. minimal noise, flat, dynamic. no issues here. -
Joy In Repetition is extended by a few seconds on the end of the cassette. Just a heads up! -
Ktrump5 I've noticed that the tape shell design, Brown print color is consistent with a New Zealand Pressing (example Dirty Mind / Controversy for shell & Sign O' the times for font color) . Even though it says made in the U.S.A I think that this is actually an NZ pressing. The reason I'm asking is that I just recently purchased a lot of tapes from NZ & this particular tape was in that lot. -

As it was too often the case with DMM mastering, the sound gains in clarity what it lacks in bass, resulting in a somewhat "cold" sounding record. Still good though, and Joy in Repetition is still one of the best Prince's cut ever. -

Same cutoff issue with Love Machine as the US pressing (Morris's laugh is at the end of Joy in Repetition rather than the beginning of Love Machine). Besides that, it sounds fabulous. Heavyweight vinyl, poly-lined sleeves, & low surface noise. -

This pressing looks and sounds great overall. One complaint is that Joy in Repetition ends side B with the laugh that should start Love Machine on side C. The ones in charge can't seem to track these Prince releases correctly as they also botched the tracking on the Come repress. -

This is one of the better reissues….. Mine is in perfect condition and no audio issues. Oddly they didn’t completely keep the original but getting rid of the the Parental Advisory That was on the original cover. Does it need it in today’s times but a reissue should stick to the original. Outside of that I have no complaints and can suggest this -
