Third single from the album Studio Miraval.

Before being a Cure song, an instrumental version was dedicated to the french TV show 'Les Enfants Du Rock', who asked the band to write their new theme.

"Snow In Summer" and "Breathe"* were used as B-sides for the 7" singles, "Sugar Girl" and "A Chain Of Flowers"* as additional B-sides for the 12" singles. *for the US, using the "Catch" B-sides as that single wasn't released there.

It was the band's first CD single.

The sleeve shows either blue or black stripes on the border. was the only country where two 7" versions were released with different B-sides.

On Record Store Day 2014 (April 29th), it was reissued as part of the Side By Side series with a 1989 cover from Dinosaur Jr. on B side.

It's so disappointing that they never put out a proper extended mix of this song. Was surprising considering so many of their singles released within a few years before and after this song came out all had extended mixes of some sort.

Wonder if anyone on here knows anything about a slightly diferent version I seem to have? I bought it at the time of release and the matrix run outs are slightly different. Side A just has FICSW 27 A1 and the B side has FICSW 27 B1 .ORLAKE. etched into it. The cover is a card sleeve and the Disc itself has paper labels identical to this release. Wonder if anyone knows anything about it before I add it as another version. Thanks, Dan.

I just played the Just Like Heaven "Remix" version by Bob Clearmountain from the US 12" single side by side on 2 turntables with the original mix from the Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me LP and honestly can't tell a difference. They are the exact same length and no overdubs. The "Remix" might have a slightly fuller sound but that's about it.
