Weather Report – Weather Report

Anyone compare this to the Grundman remaster from 2013? I've compared this to my OG and this version is slightly more dynamic to my ears. It was done pretty damn well in the first place though IMO.

Sounds and is packaged brilliantly, and I have the original release as well.

That's a chunk of obsidian on the album cover! Better get to listening.

Sounds great honestly. I was surprised to see the textured sleeve, a nice touch.

As usual : great pressing from Music On Vinyl, a perfect quality for this first release from Weather report.

Really a very nice pressing. The treble is not hyped, meaning you can crank up the volume without brittleness. No doubt it is cut from digital, but it doesn’t sound digital.

This is not a style of music I like. In fact, I don't really enjoy it. It's ok. It's interesting, but not actually pleasant. Just makes me super agitated to listen to.

My uncle said he used to play in a band with one of these guys, I don't know which one.
