Suffocation – Blood Oath

I’m not extremely familiar with this label Floga but coincidentally I have now purchased 2 records of theirs recently (this one obviously and their recent repress of “Bitterness” by Swedish melodic Death Metalers Desultory) and I have to say they did quite a good job on both albums. The sound quality on this is very nice on my setup and is dynamic and full sounding. I also like the album art as it appears very vibrant and printed on a nice high gloss jacket with lyrics and band photos printed inside as opposed to an inner sheet, but the record itself comes in a nice protected poly lined inner sleeve. For fans of the album I highly recommend this pressing to buy and enjoy as it is very well done and very reasonably priced as well. To me this was the final Suffo studio album to get on vinyl and besides their Live in Quebec release I now own their entire discography on vinyl which makes me very happy. This album doesn’t get far enough credit to me, it is one of the band’s best lineups and is solid Death Metal with catchy tunes, a tight as hell rhythm section and that signature Suffocation pummeling that fans know and love. Great American DM band and album!

This sounds and looks amazing! A beautiful gate-fold layout & the audio is just as good if not better than the cd version. Also the gate-fold has a beautiful gloss shine on it. It's a really good pressing guys, if you've been waiting for blood oath and despise the sun to be repressed like i was go ahead and pick em both up they're awesome!! \m/

I've found on soulseek a 16 track version This Is listed as the Russisn Irond Edition though on here that release has only 14 tracks. This one has the bonus tracks from the other versions +2 more. Thinking someone compiled all the bonus tracks but 2 of these are not on any version listed on here.

This release also includes 2 hidden/unlisted bonus tracks: "Blood Oath" (Instrumental version)" (as track #13) and "Cataclysmic Purification (Rough mix unmastered)" (as track #14). Some editions also came in a red jewelcase.
