Cleo Sol – Rose In The Dark

Want all her albums on vinyl not sure why there so expensive though I'm a huge fan I think her music is beautiful amazing songwriting but am I fu*k paying £40 an album

this is easily one of the best sounding records in my collection, like i can’t even begin to say how shocked i was when i first spun this. sounds almost fully analog, the bass and volume is LOUD and it sounds like cleo is singing in my room… glad this beautiful album revived a great pressing! lyrics booklet is nice as is the canvas cover but paper sleeve is not so great and it’s a b¡tch to put the disc back in the cover but they’re my only complaints!

Hello to all sellers and Discogs contributor, please don't be lazy don't list/sell repress in the 2020 release and made a new entry for the 2025 repress of Cleo Sol whole Discography. To all buyers and mostly newcomers avoid to buy a repress in the 2020 release, nobody will sell you a first press for 45€or above. Hope this can helps.

At the end of 2024 the CD versions of both Rose In The Dark and Mother became widely available again after having been previously sold out for a long time. How can these repress copies be distinguished from the original 2020 and 2021 versions respectively?

My copy sounds like shit. Happy to see there is a repress less happy when I saw the price.

August 2023 I bought this. And it's release date is still being pushed back. Just seems a bit odd.

Listened to her subsequent albums as well but for me this is still her best work.
