Think this is a really good pressing, 1200g , ortofon black, sugden A21e ,Harbeth p3esr ,and the soundstage is vast, mids are incredible. If this has been pressed from a digital format then I’ve absolutely no problem with it,smoother than smoothy the silk worms silk pyjamas

My copy sounds fantastic. Played using Technics SL 1200 MK3 Japanese Custom running a Ortofon Concorde Club MK2, Ortofon Concorde Scratch Mk2 through a Rane TTM 56 and Focal Studio Monitors.

Edited 25 days agoI would NOT say this is a horrible pressing however, it’s not the greatest. I know when I hear an OG pressing of this I’ll be very disappointed though. This could certainly sound much better than it does. I am definitely disappointed in that it doesn’t sound better because it should.
This does NOT sound fantastic. it sounds GOOD. -
Used to listen to this around 1991, 1992, 1993 and loved it. Had the CD for a long time and finally got this vinyl edition and what a great sound. Can recommend this as a very nice sounding pressing. I wish I could make my own music sound this good. But I'm a suburban widget pusher. The planet is built on my back and they'll tithe me everything by the time my number's up. Until then, I'll think about how dumb Shakespeare was when he said 'all the world's a stage'. If that was the case I'd have been ready when the spotlight hit me. -

This is actually one of the best vinyl listening experiences I had. You can hear the hissing of the old tape start of the record.
The music is so alive! It destroys the 2019 reissues. The 2019 reissue sounds like it’s capturing 70% of all the recorded sound and dynamics are squashed.
100/100! -
Horrible pressing, please avoid at all costs. Waste of $15. -

I don't think this is a 1982 release, seeing that it has a barcode. South Africa started using barcodes a bit later in the 80s.
