Classic psy-trance, despite what the nay-sayers have said below. if there is a better psy-trance release from this era I am yet to hear it.

Just bought this on Amazon a few days ago and I just received it today! It may not be for everyone but the nostalgia alone is awesome. I still love every track. Just love it.

Edited 7 months agoAs a whole I am not in Love with this release. If you have never heard great Goa Trance from this time, you may find this is better than the average EDM you were listening to, but there is nothing here I would want to listen to a second time. Give Juno Reactor-Transmission CD a listen from 1993.

Going back to this CD recently, I followed the hype and rated this 4/5 when I picked this up 2 years ago. Now going back to it, I find it impossible to rate this high. While there are some good tracks, there are some extremely boring / dated ones. "Seed Of Sound" "Virtual High" "Are You Experienced" and "Be Here Now" are good oldskool tracks, but hardly the best i've listened to. The rest are either boring psychedelic tracks or some dated ambient tracks that don't go anywhere. Funny how my picks appear on the Peace Of Mind EP which is probably cheaper than the album release. So in reality the only good extra track is "Be Here Now". "Instant Enlightenment" has aged rather poorly IMO.

Edited 12 years agoAgree with the precious comments. This is a gem of an overlooked release by maestro of timeless space of bits and bytes Tesuo Inoue with the addition of Dennis Ferrer as the percussion wizard. I am guessing Ferrer is the one bringing the more uptempo percussion based on his excellent one off Jax release which is less ambient and more old school techno. This is a mantric journey of synthesized sound and pulse patterns woven seamless and sprinkled with a hinting of eastern mystique!! We need a part II.....

Edited 19 years agoThis is an astonishing release which was well overlooked by everyone back in time for some really strange reason. Im saying this, because here you will find a creme-de-la-cream of old trance and ambient. A true masterpiece. You just find a copy of this magic and embark on this incredible journey into inner spaces and self-disclosure.

Edited 11 years agoThe sleeve is tacky as hell. Inside it, however, you'll find a wonderful trance-techno album which combines the mesmerizing ambience sound of Tetsu Inoue with Dennis Ferrer's trippy trance dynamics. "Seed of Sound", "Wheels of Light" and "Virtual High" are particularly stunning. Excellent REAL trance music from the golden era.
