Notes
Recorded November 4, 10 & 18, 1926 at the Academy Of Music, Philadelphia.
(Not to be confused with Stokowski's 1934 recording.)
Originally issued in January 1927 without set numbers, on either the packaging or the labels.
In the late summer of 1927 the packaging of Victor’s albums changed to the heavy cardboard covers with set numbers shown on the spine, and the M- series was born. The first fourteen sets in the "Musical Masterpiece Series" were retroactively assigned the first fourteen of these numbers, and copies pressed henceforth are found in this new series and packaging.
