I found this compilation to be a bit harsh for my Goa tastes, but worth picking up for the Psyko Disko track which was not licensed out to many comps.

mmm first one to review this one??

For me this is (currently) the best goa trance compilation ever!
All these songs has a verry distinct sound... not your regular goa trance!
When ,as a young psychedelic goa trancer, I bought this album I was searching for "crazy acidic goa" (That is what I asked for is to the one selling me this) when I got home I was a little bit disappointed as I thought It was TOO crazy :) But years later and allot of hours listening later I am deeply in love with this crazy australian style and this compilation !

What makes this a great compilation for me:

        - Obviously the most important reason: Every song on this compilation is great! no weak songs

        - Most of the songs are findable on other album's compilations but this compilation is a rare grouping of some of the best of those unique australian style weirdo-songs

        - great original artwork : something else then the usual nineties psychedelic arts (wich I also love offcourse)

-and offcourse the style of all the songs:
-great originality (what defines this style)
        -braintwitching use of psychedelic sounds!
-good sample usage! altough most of the samples (nobody,spaculator..) bothered me at the beginning I love most of the samples right now, only the sample in speculator seems bothering at times ...
-no fear of chaotic and hectic layering that make most of the tracks really intense!

other great compilation in this style : The Wizardry Of Oz (this one can compete with psy-harmonics 3 buth is harder to find and not THAT good as psy-harmonics 3 in my opinion)

        greetlings

        Florian
