Anyone who's looking for the Dub mix, it's available a lot cheaper on: Heaven / You Can Have It All -
Big crossover track that went from the clubs and had commercial success, which was always a turn off back in the day.
But I love coming back to this tune it has all the elements I love about Cleveland City, big chunky beats, deep bass, huge synth lines a funky vibe and oh yes then there's the vocal and piano too ! Big hands in the air tune.
You can take your pick on the mixes but for me its either "Rhyme Time Club Mix" or the "Dub", both worth checking. -
Edited 14 years agoThis is one of my fave Cleveland City Records tracks, alongside Screen II's Hey Mr DJ (Stab Mix) and Rhyme Time Productions "You & Me" track which I also had the pleasure of remixing as the Knuckleheadz.
Although Eve Gallagher does a great vocal on this, the dub takes all the best elements... the typical Cleveland City chunky beats, the stabs, bouncing bassline, the piano riff and the chorus to make this a much more credible and driving mix for the clubs....
Liking it probably also had something to do with the fact that I was one of only 15 people to have this!
