Great soundtrack. This and Dirty Dancing are really good soundtracks. I never watched either movie but I approve the music! Great sounding record as well.

Nice remaster with good dynamics, although nothing will get it past that 80s digital sound, a very enjoyable version of this album. No longer "original soundtrack" since they added some source tracks from the film (songs that existed before the movie). Note that track 10 is not the 5:17 album version but rather the single edit. A shame because this would have been a good source to have the full-length version with good dynamics. Other missed opportunities include the 12" mix of "Holding Out For A Hero" and the extended version of "Let's Hear It For The Boy" (both available on volumes of 'Club Columbia' and 'Club Epic'.)

Great sounding pressing. I challenge those who think that "colored" vinyl sounds like garbage to give this a spin.

All the hits! All the time! And mixed/normalised/pressed with great competence. Not sure if you’ll find a better compilation with these specific songs elsewhere, so if you love vinyl, this movie or most of the material then snap it up. Best $5 I ever spent.

Not the best sounding mastering job. Very low dynamics compared to original 1984 CD release.

This version sounds good to my ears, with nice bass and balanced treble. On the other hand, the tracks are edited slightly different to the original which sound like different recordings almost (which i have at hand for reference). If you want the original sound as the artists intended, get an original copy.
