Still in my early stages with this one, but it’s a beauty! Robotic funk, rhapsodic piano and synths, and Grosses Wasser, taking up the whole of side 2. If you’re a Cluster fan and don’t have this: highly recommended!

Besides being the producer of this album, Peter Bauman's influence here ( especially in regards to the " linear" compositional style of his first 2 solo albums) is so strong that its almost as if he was a temporary/third member if only for this album. -
Dive in! The wasser looks inviting, no? It seems to be a rather blank space with that teasingly bent horizon. Most of the album gives the feel of small ideas, handled with due care, given plenty of space, then left to their own devices. The long second-side piece is reminicsent of 'The Clangers' TV programme vs. metallic rain, then abruptly swerves into a free-association drumming session, giving way to sinuous melodies vying with abrupt synth bloops/swoops. Wonderfully surreal music.

the track "Prothese" sounds a lot like "Giorgio Moroder - Evolution" :)
