Profile:	New Zealand label. Its parent company Factory. RTC stood for Record And Tape Corporation, and it was founded in 1976 by John McCready (2) (later Managing Director of CBS NZ and CBS Australia). The company absorbed the earlier Virgin Records NZ Ltd. and Pitts owned 25% of the new operation.
