Careful...a lot of Malfatti’s recent output has been plagued by minimalism. He plays a note then nothing for 2 minutes and then plays another note. Quite the contrary to the old Radu where he would blow his brains out. Don’t criticize me I am buying his music and a lot of it and discovering this. Most releases there is more noise going on outside with just birds and air but that’s free and often more interesting. One can only conclude that he has “blown chops” which is to be expected at his age.
