In case anyone was wondering, SRC Vinyl still sucks in 2024. I recently ordered the Angus soundtrack, which is ostensibly still in stock. It's been three weeks without and update. My advice is to avoid these people. I should have checked Discogs first, and now I'm paying the price. For the next person who is smarter than me and checks Discogs first: DO NOT BUY FROM SRC VINYL.

I can report only the same as others on here have already reported. Terrible people scamming people out of money, website software is very poor and pretty sure the ticketing system breaks data protection laws. For a further look at how bad this label is look at this fb group setup by upset past customers: https://www.facebook.com/groups/519787585530308

Top scumbags. Always have been, always will be. Amazed they are still in business.

I used to order from this website occasionally with no problems in the past and my last order was another pressing of HUM's You'd Prefer an Astronaut' on "sea glass" vinyl.

The estimated shipping date was pushed and pushed for almost a year, until it showed as "shipped" all of a sudden in my customer . I never received a shipping confirmation, let alone the record of course. Customer service couldn't be reached by any means. And a look at Discogs shows that no one received this batch of Hum records - these pressings obviously DO NOT EVEN EXIST.

They show as "on backorder" now on their website. One has to wonder how many people were scammed out of their money for this release.

This company taught me a lesson. I found them online, and I made the mistake of not vetting them with a simple search of the reviews. They are slow to respond to email inquiries. They are not slow to process your payment. It's been over a month so far, and I have not received what I have paid for. I reported them to the BBB (plenty of others too) and my bank as well. Through my internet search, I have found that they sell records and either distill alcohol, or just sell it from someone else. At any rate they definitely aren't reliable.

Let me just pile on to all these previous comments to state DON'T EVER PURCHASE DIRECTLY FROM SRC VINYL. Terrible unresponsive customer service. I had pre-ordered a record in February of 2019 and it never shipped there was just delay after delay. Getting in with their "awesome team" is like pulling teeth. I was finally able to have them cancel my order and get refunded thankfully. I will never give them a penny ever again.

DO NOT BUY FROM SRC VINYL. As so many have said below, they are the worst company *ON EARTH* to deal with. They make cool products which sound good but their customer service is almost nonexistent. A record which was supposed to show up in two weeks literally took nine months to arrive at my door. Phone, email, twitter, Facebook, whatever, they won't reply to any of it. As others have said, use their site as a guide and then BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Avoid ordering from them directly at all costs. Purchase from Amazon, eBay, physical store....etc. Their pressings are pretty solid, but their site service is lousy. I would be wary of pretty much anything that is listed as "In Stock". Chances are, it's not. Use their site as a guide, then go somewhere else to buy it.

This business is terrible. Only ordered once and never will again. They claimed to have 15 or so copies of a certain colored press "back in stock", but this was just a marketing tactic to push more copies, as I guess the newest pressing wasnt selling quick enough. They claimed it was a mistake and that it would be corrected. They sent out literally just a 2nd copy of the same wrong color. They are trying to blame off to their "robots." Regardless, maybe stop relying on machines to do the job then if theyre constantly getting things wrong and losing you customers. But I have a feeling something shady is going and the whole truth isnt being told. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! If u want an SRC press, get it on here, USED or OPEN, if you want to guarantee the right color because apparently correctly labeling what you sell is no longer a thing.

I have had trouble several times like mentioned below, part of an order being out of stock and waiting on things back and forth, taking months to get orders. It can be very frustrating and the lack of information about what is happening with your purchases when these stocking issues arrise leave you a bit in the dark. I would, however, say that I have emailed with questions about where orders are and what is going on and that has always been very productive. I have gotten responses within a day (often just 3 or 4 hours) and then am told about why my order hasn't gotten to me. I can go back and forth with someone several times and get everything sorted out.

It would be nice if they had a system that would email you and say "Album A from your order is back ordered/out of stock, would you like to wait or drop it from the order" so you at least know what is going on and can choose to ditch the album so it doesn't continue the cycle of things being out of stock in a multiple album order. I never have this sort of trouble with pre-orders of an album that is coming in later, its only with "in stock" items. So while the ordering experience gets to be aggravating sometimes, I have personally had great customer service experiences with email over the years (never tried to call). Just wish I didn't have to email to find out what is going on.
