U-Tech

U-Tech Media Corporation (鈺德科技股份有限公司) is a Taiwanese company that has run numerous optical disc manufacturing plants in several countries through its existence. The company was established in March 2000 by parent company Ritek Corporation, which itself was established in 1988 as Taiwan's first optical disc manufacturer.

In March 2003, the company invested in Glory Days Service Ltd., a subsidiary of Ritek Corporation, allowing it to acquire Ritek's CD-R manufacturing plant in Australia (Ritek Australia Pty. Ltd.) which began manufacturing CD-Rs in 1997 and DVDs in 2000 or 2001. This plant was thereafter run by the local company U-Tech Media Australia Pty Ltd, which was deed in 2010.

In November 2003, the company invested in establishing a manufacturing plant was established in Korea. In April 2005, a branch was opened in Japan under the name U-Tech Media Japan Co., Ltd.

As of 2006, the company had offices in Los Angeles, San Jose and Nashville, Tennessee, USA; Guadalajara, Mexico; Qingzhou, South Korea; and Sydney, Australia, as well as a strategic partnership with Dyntec Disc Production Co., Ltd. (U-Tech California).

As of 2019, U-Tech's website listed two active locations, one in Taiwan and one in Korea.
