Canadian series of sampler CD's released by Universal Music Canada beginning in 1997, following the MCA Records / Universal merger. Discs were issued only to Club & Radio DJ's up to and including 2000.
Each disc contained a variety of radio-friendly tracks, from genres such as hip-hop, soul, pop, rock, trip-hop, reggae, among others. Dance music tracks would sometimes appear, but always in radio edit format.
Artwork styles typically used:
-1997 white and tan artwork and "One Great Spin After Another" tagline, white tray insert with black text, white disc design;
-1998-99 black & blue artwork, white tray insert with black text, white or black text only disc design;
-2000 large clear "Universal" logo sticker on front of jewel case in place of front cover insert, multicolor double-sided tray insert; black disc design.
Starting in 2000 the "Radio Compilation" title portion was no longer used, only "Universal Music".
