It is a division of Universal Music Publishing Group, and like with other "Universal PolyGram International"-named subsidiaries operating in the United States, its main purpose is a sub-publishing of foreign music works (written by foreign songwriters not directly d to, but represented in the U.S. by SESAC) controlled by any of the international subsidiaries of Universal Music Publishing Group.
