Unknown (OR)

"Anonymous" pirate CD manufacturer (active in Russia and CIS countries), active in early '00s (2001 to 2004). Used matrix pattern OR XXX or OR XXXX (3 or 4 digits respectively). Many CDs also had a barcode around matrix ring. Most CDs have similar design, with the following text printed around the outer edge (in all CAPS) in same/similar style/font/size: UNAUTHORISED COPYING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE & BROADCASTING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED. ALL RIGHTS OF THE MANUFACTURER & OF THE OWNER OF THE RECORDED WORK RESERVED. MADE IN E.C. For example, see Björk - Medúlla (OR3666).
CDs with transparent background had similar text, but printed with standard capitalization - for example DJ Shadow - The Private Press (OR 932)
While some of these releases were of high audio quality (with the audio copied digitally from original CDs), some other contained tracks mastered from low quality sources (such as MP3 files).
On some releases the artwork was copied from original releases and slightly modified. On other releases the artwork was created by the OR designers and so is unique. All or most releases had 4-page front insert + 2-side printed back cover (for transparent tray).
