Rod Laver Arena

Rod Laver Arena is the centre court arena at the National Tennis Centre in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and the venue for the Australian Open tennis tournament. The arena has also been known as 'Flinders Park Tennis Centre' (from the former name of the park in which it is situated), 'Melbourne Park' (from the current name of the park in which it's situated), and just the 'National Tennis Centre' (which properly includes the arena plus a wide range of other tennis courts and facilities). Officially named Rod Laver Arena on 16 January 2000.
