Edited 2 years ago@tapei101: This is probably one of the most underinformed comments on discogs (to say it politely). Clean Feed in fact is one of the best labels engaged in creative jazz music and beyond. Just to get an idea what this label and it's impact on the free music scene is about, please read this:

ESP and BYG were two of the few labels which recorded and published this kind of music in the 60s and early 70s - this is the reason why many of their releases became classics inspite of the often poor recording quality. For everyone who has more than a nostalgic view on free jazz and is interested in adventurous and exciting music, Clean Feed is one of todays key labels. -
It's probably one of the worst labels of free jazz. There is no editorial policy, this label is in fact a distributor of recordings sent by the musicians without critical choice. Each year they publish more than 50 titles but how many have become classics. Byg has only released about fifty discs and they have almost all become classics, same thing for ESP, while clean feed has published hundreds of discs, none of which have been ed.
