Alabamahalle

Munich concert venue. First location was in a disused US army depot, that was located between Schleißheimerstrasse and Knorrstrasse. BMW bought the area in 1978 for a future Innovation Center. As part of their cultural sponsoring they sublet parts of the area to interested parties.
Alabamahalle or Alabama-Halle was part of that up until the end of 1987.
It later moved to Domagkstraße and lastly in January 2008 to the area of the previous "Optimolwerke" at Friedenstrasse.
