New York house label founded in 1994 by Johnny "D" De Mairo.
The first release was numbered 162 after Johnny D's former address in Brooklyn.
Distributed by Clone Distribution reissued six releases on vinyl in 2014 to mark the label's 20th anniversary. Further reissues followed in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
A Record Store Day compilation was released in 2024 to mark the label's 30th anniversary.
A history of the label is detailed in 20 Years Of Henry Street Music (The Definitive Collection).
The name and label design was inspired by early disco label Henry Street Records.

      honestly one of the best labels out there for old school house. This label does have some great tracks but then again there is some crap in between. i own a couple of relaeses here and there.
