This 80s Revolution SERIES introduces a valuable CD series with extended versions and rare remixes, some of which have never before appeared on compact disc. The long versions of many hits of the 80s inspired us all at that time. Unfortunately, only a limited number of these songs have ever found their way onto compact disc, so that still today many people must go on a journey of discovery in this area to find these rare pearls, which are no longer available, or are impossible to find. I, as an expert, have come to the conclusion that there are many different remix versions of various interpreters, which were either released in limited numbers or were only released abroad. Some titles are in such a demand, that even in a used condition, the maxi singles are sold at high market prices in the four figure range. This series exists thanks to ZYX Music, which has, since the beginning of the 80's, been the only German record company to be involved with the Italo scene. ZYX records became thereby the world-wide distributor of Italian Dance music. Company founder BERNHARD MIKULSKI never saw himself as a mass distributor but as a label for artists who produce rather unconventional music even if it wasn´t popular in the Chart scene at that time. Owing to his decision for Italo Disco, ZYX is today one of the most successful Independent labels around the world. Digital 32 BIT Re-Mastering is responsible for the high quality of the songs, which have been carefully prepared by a colleague of mine.
