The Mean Fiddler

Profile:

Opened in Harlesden in 1982, the Mean Fiddler became an influential venue on the London scene, with both up-and-coming bands and established stars playing there. The Harlesden incarnation closed down in December 2000, opening just a week later at the old Astoria 2 venue in the basement of The London Astoria in Charing X Rd. They remained there until 2007 when the venue was sold on and reverted to the old name of Astoria 2.
