Newman Scoring Stage

Profile:

Historic scoring stage originally established in 1936, in the 20th Century Fox Studios complex in Century City, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. The 7,500-square-foot facility was originally built in 1928 as a shooting stage for Fox Movietone Pictures. Converted to a scoring stage in 1936 known as Alfred Newman, then head of the studio's music department. It was first renovated in the mid-1970s, and again in the 1990s. The facility was remodeled, renovated and renamed Newman Scoring Stage (named in honor of Alfred and Lionel Newman), and reopened in 1997.

Stage 1 is the scoring stage; stage 2 is the ADR/Foley stage.
