Hello all, Djax-Up-Beats a label who;s time has come.Check out the prices, records you could have brought six months ago for a few pounds, euros are now fetching 20,30,40 pounds. Ive brought Djax from the first Terrace release ,i have about 250 of them and ive always loved the uncompromising attitude of this label. Isat down with headphones and big spliff and worked my way through my records and they definitley stand the test of time, perhaps even more so now with the apparent vinyl revolution, my advice, work your way through the catalouge and buy what you like now as this label will only go up in value as a new generation discovers these old labels and buys them up. Thank you Miss Djax for one of the most amazing labels, plus i loved your new album,Flight 303, and im glad your back in techno land ,rather than rave land.

You can't pidgeon-hole it. You have the Chicago sounds of Mike Dearborn that got gradually harder until he left the label.
The smooth sounds of pioneers like Terrace (other monikers were not as smooth, more evil sounding!). Ismistik again very smooth, Like-A-Tim with freaked out time patterns and sounds, Acid Junkies for the 'blow the roof' 303 sounds and Claude Young with solid Detroit techno.
A forceful label of the 90s, greatly influential on the techno of today.
