Profile:	US label, founded 1953 by Robert G. Koester out of his record shop on Delmar Blvd. in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1958 Koester moved to Chicago. The label was renamed to Delmark Records in the early 1960s due to the threat of a lawsuit.
