المعهد الوطني للموسيقى / The National Conservatory of Music (NCM) in in 1993 under the Birzeit University in Ramallah, It was renamed in tribute to the invaluable intellectual and cultural contributions to humanity of the late Dr. Edward Said in 2004. Today the conservatory has branches in Jerusalem (1996), Bethlehem (1997), Nablus (2010) and Gaza (2012) and enrols over 1000 students.
