In 2002, Scantraxx released its first release "Taq 9 ‎– Slavez". In 2010, it seemed the last vinyl pressing was Scantraxx Reloaded number 25 "Wildstylez ‎– In & Out" on the 14th of June. After almost a year of no vinyl pressings, Dov Elkabas decided to start releasing vinyls again in the Scantraxx Sampler series. On the 2nd of May 2011 the first Scantraxx Sampler vinyl was released. The sampler series reached its 29th and last release, released on the 28th of May 2012... Astral Music, Scantraxx's distributor held a lot of Scantraxx vinyl overstock during 2012 and at the end of 2012 they decided to deleted the remaining approximately 7500 vinyls they had left in stock. In January 2013 all remaining new Scantraxx stock has been destroyed. Precise numbers on how many vinyls per release have been destroyed are unknown but most titles held over 100+ stock at the time of destruction.
