American multinational technology company, established in September 1998 and headquartered in Mountain View, California; formerly known as Google Inc. (1998—2017). Google LLC specializes in search engine technology, online advertising, cloud computing, software development, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, consumer electronics and other relevant fields and industries. Following a corporate restructuring in October 2015, Google LLC is now a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. conglomerate. "Google" is one of the world's most valuable brands and highly-capitalized companies. It belongs to the "Big Five" informal group of US tech giants, alongside Microsoft Corporation and Meta (formerly Facebook).
