Posted here about three years ago looking for an LP - Dave Nicholls "Buddy Holly Tribute". Recently found one but the owner wasn't willing to sell. Dave has been gone a long time and his brother, Alan (a dear friend of mine and a member of "JB & The Playboys") would love to have a copy. If anyone has one and is willing to sell, or knows where one is, let me know! -

Hi Everyone. I've had a personal site about the Cowboy Junkies for the past 17 years. It includes a lot of detail about Jeff Bird. I'll update this site with any additional information that I can.
Cheers.

Welcome Bob. I'm a Cowboy Junkies fan from way back. Look forward to your contributions - I know there's some Jeff Bird era Tamarack releases and solo stuff that aren't in the database yet. -

ed up to data base my records. Have done the albums and latest acquisitions of 45's but time and lack of obsession has kept me from finishing up and not going to do the 8-tracks or Beta videos.
on the side note: I lived in Guelph and met Jeff a few times at various artsy venues back in the 80's. James Gordon would be a good for you. We just lost Molly from Tamarack. [r.i.p.] -

Hello from Vancouver (the Island), recently relocated from Vancouver (the City), although I grew up in Toronto.
I echo djgurygury 's comment from 8 yrs ago that he'd like to see this group more active, LoL.
I do end up starting a lot of mass edit threads, mostly merging artists / labels / venues / studios. I will make an effort to post any such threads involving Canadian artists, labels, & locations here. Likewise, feel free to ping me on any discussions regarding Canadian artists - especially folk, country, and punk, but really anything at all i'm willing to have a swing at. -

Welcome to town notneils ... *tumbleweed blows across the pasture*
Sure is quiet around these parts. Nice to have a new, active member in the group, though.
I made several database contributions a year or two ago when I was going through my collection and adding anything I didn't find. Happened to be lots of Canadian stuff in there, as a distant relative of mine had worked at CBC radio back in the 60s. That project has pretty much wrapped up though, so I haven't been too active of late. -

Yes this was me as well. I decided to sell the bulk of my CDs, and had a lot of Canadiana that had not yet been catalogued here. I started bare-bones (album / songs / label) but then got interested and did a second adding artists, engineers, studios, etc.
Now it's all in, but I have been obsessively starting threads to merge / separate artists, studios, etc, anytime i notice multiples / things mixed up. This has taken me through many quiet shifts at work, LoL. -
