The 11th edition of my Squat Rocking series — dedicated to the sounds of the London illegal raves of my youth — is a special tribute to an obscure but brilliant label: Organgrinder Records. Run by Zebedee and Lawrence, Organgrinder never had the name recognition of labels like Stay Up Forever, Routemaster, or Smitten, but it played a vital role in the scene’s ecosystem. Every label mattered! I've always loved their uncompromising, no-nonsense releases, so I thought it was time to shine a little spotlight on them. Enjoy!
