I'm pretty sure you used to be able to 'reply' to a comment on a Discogs page...in fact I know you used to because there are conversations with replies that exist. Why have Discogs stopped this ? I find it a step backwards..... -

...OK, to be more spesific it is still possible to reply to the origonal comment, but there used to be the function to reply to replies. Therefore a thread could be started. This is the function that is not longer available that I am talking about. -

reply to replies
Assuming you are on a desktop, select the text you want to quote, click QUOTE SELECTION, and then type your reply.
Seems to work the same as it always has. -

Could it be that oggers can argue about anything under the sun and staff would rather we didn't do it in the reviews section? -

The sky is black. It's night.
Well, black-ish.
Too much light pollution. All my neighbours have stupid garden lights on all night long. -

In the reviews/comments on release pages, they took away the reply-to-reply option at least a couple of years ago. Not sure exactly when, but it was deliberate.
They way Discogs has been handling reviews/comments has been atrocious from day one. They can't make up their minds about what the feature even is. It's buggy and they delete valid posts which conform to the RSG with no explanation, no notification, and no consistency. -

That's a great question! Your post is both informative and logical, and I appreciate you bringing it up. It can be frustrating when certain features change without clear explanations. Sometimes, platforms adjust their comment systems due to spam control, moderation policies, or technical updates.
By the way, speaking of good choices, have you tried the Spicy & Crunchy Wrap Choice from Arby’s menu? It’s definitely worth checking out!
Does it come with extra SPAM? -

I did notice a while ago, but only recently did I really want to use it and couldn't. I find it handy when someone posts something factualy incorrect. -

Parts of this site are incredibly frustrating. The comments/reviews section is one of them.
